Two ongoing large-scale clinical trials are studying ivabradine’s benefits in terms of morbidity and mortality.
• SIGNIFY in patients with coronary artery disease without heart failure – results are expected in 2013
• SHIFT, in patients with heart failure - results are expected in 2010
Another landmark trial is ongoing in patients with myocardial infarction:
• VIVIFY: 1st trial assessing safety of intravenous ivabradine in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction
